During the morning of Monday, August 8, the traditional visit of the main pavilions of the Trade Fair took place by the President of the Principality of Asturias, Mr. Javier Fernández, who accessed our stand accompanied by the Minister of Employment, Industry and Tourism, Mr. Francisco Blanco, and the President of the Gijón Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Félix Baragaño.

The delegation, headed by Mr. Javier Fernández, was received by the General Director of Institutional Relations and Communication of Corporación Masaveu, Ms. Alicia Castro, who was accompanied by the General Director of Media, Mr. José Luis San Agustín, the General Director of Masaveu Industria, Mr. Julio Peláez, the Director of Morteros Tudela Veguín, Mr. Juan José Iglesias and Mr. José Luis Sáenz de Santamaría, from the Legal Department.

As in other years, Mr. Javier Fernández showed great interest in everything exhibited at the stand. On this occasion, the showcase dedicated to the IV Centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes powerfully caught his attention, qualifying as “real jewels” the editions of El Quijote that this year are presented in our pavilion and which once belonged to D. Pedro Masaveu Masaveu. The industrial corner with the work of Morteros Tudela Veguín for the 40th anniversary of the Masaveu Industria company did not go unnoticed by the President of the Principality of Asturias.
