During the morning of Thursday, October 6, the apple harvest took place on the farm of the villa of the Mina de Tudela Veguín where, since 2011, the tree plantations have been organized by the children of the school in the town of Oviedo, in charge today of the fruit harvest together with their tutors and several directors of the cement company.

Equipped with the recycled cardboard bags that Cementos Tudela Veguín gave them prior to the task, the children enjoyed a day outdoors that could hardly have better combined fun with learning and environmental education, since under the inevitable pretensions of “to see who takes more ”, all of them were aware that the lesson was more important:“ the fruit is taken to eat it ”.
