On this occasion, it was our facility “Morteros Tudela Veguín, S.A.” in Riaño (Langreo) to take advantage of this early spring, to celebrate, last Tuesday, March 12, the environmental awareness campaign for 2019, accompanied by 40 children from the second and third years of Primary Education from the public schools of Riaño “La Llamiella ”and“ Clara Campoamor ”(between 7 and 9 years old), who came under the supervision of 4 teachers.

On this occasion, a total of 46 fruit trees were planted, of the following species:

  • 4 hazelnuts
  • 6 plums
  • 4 peach trees
  • 1 quince
  • 8 pear trees
  • 23 apple trees

The Langreo City Council was represented by the Councilor for the Treasury, Mr. Luis Baragaño, and the business representation was headed by Mr. José Luis Sáenz de Santa María Prieto, Director of the Institutional Relations Department of “Corporación Masaveu”, Mr. Juan José Iglesias Huelga, Head of the Mortar Division of “Masaveu Industria”, Mr. Fernando Fdez-Tresguerres, responsible for the environment of Masaveu Industria and Mr. Oscar García Riera, Director of the Mortar plant.
